The Biscioni family
Every family has a secret, and the secret is that it's not like other families.
The history of Biscioni Gioielli began in 1871 at number 10 Ponte Vecchio (now 38R), where our boutique stands to this day. It was Giuseppe Biscioni, the great-grandfather of the current owner, who first established the shop, sparking a legacy that has spanned over 150 years.
Since its founding, the boutique has remained open, pausing only during the war years, with a member of the Biscioni family always present behind the counter. Following Giuseppe and his son Gino, the business passed to Giancarlo, and is now led by his daughter, Giuditta.
Giuditta continues the family tradition with a dedicated and hands-on approach: she personally selects every gemstone, oversees the design of each piece, and meets with clients daily.
For four generations, we have welcomed visitors from across the globe, transforming their dreams into reality while upholding the excellence of a name that is woven into the very fabric of Florence.
